Hello there!

It seems fitting that my last post was on Ash Wednesday, not that I was trying not to post. Easter Sunday was yesterday - out with the old and in with the new right? Well I have some unfortunate news....which can hopefully explain my unintentional hiatus - at least partially.

One March 17th during a Saturday morning dance class at my gym I dislocated my kneecap in the middle of a dance move. because of this I could no longer support my weight so I crashed to the ground and my knee popped back in, or "reduced" as they called it at the hospital, on it's own. To sum up a long story, I received an MRI some days after the accident which showed that I had basically completely torn my MCL, fractured my kneecap and torn part of my quad muscle. This was my right knee mind you so I am unable to drive, unable to get in and out of tubs or cars on my own, and I am pretty much limited in most other aspects.

G has been great through it all and has been by my side since Day 1. Appreciate you love! :-)

I was unfortunately on bed rest up until April 4th and even now, I am limited in what I am allowed to do and not do. I am on crutches and in a full leg brace which is supposed to immobilize my knee. It is annoying however it is necessary. One night I thought that I didn't really need to sleep in it anymore so I decided to sleep without it. I woke up in pain a couple hours afterwards and had to put it on immediately. Once bitten, twice shy...

Obviously this has set me back in a lot of ways. My photoshoot had to be postponed. Everything that had been planned had depended on me being able to pose with both of my legs intact...so we will draw up a new plan for photos, reschedule the big shoot for a couple months but have a small shoot in the next 4 weeks or so just so that we can get some useable promo pics, and hopefully still be on track.

I am so sorry for the delay but I guess it was God's way of saying slow down, give me the reigns, take a break and just follow my lead..which is what I intend to do.

I'm back and more determined than ever to get my music to you.

Till next time!

Officially,

Me
