Ash Wednesday

Its Ash Wednesday today. I went to a liturgical mass at noon...received my ashes. The preist said some things that stuck with me. He said that its not about giving up chocolate or soda but it is about abstaining from things that make us sin. He gave the example of being lazy. If you are lazy here and there on a regular basis, it soon becomes a habit. We need to think about negative things in our lives like that that we can give up during this time. The main thing that he said that has stayed with me the most is "Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return"...think about it. Evaluate your life and make changes. Not just for the 40 days of lent...but for ever.

Journey to the past...

Yesterday I received 6 of my tracks from my producer. Listening to each one takes me back to when I first came up with the lyrics and the melodies. Thinking about what I was doing when I wrote each one was fun. I hope that it always comes to me as easy as most of these songs did. I can't wait for you all to hear and enjoy my music as well. April 1st is not that far away!

Photoshoot Coming Up!!!

I am excited to announce that I have a photoshoot in the 6 weeks! I am very excited about it and I cannot wait to update my website as well as my facebook page with my new photos! I have no idea how it will all turn out but I have no doubt that they will be amazing! Stay tuned for more on that!

Keeping In Touch
